Frank Cooke aka The Cambridge Bicycle Doctor has a broad background in the cycle servicing and repair industry. His passion for the ‘perfect design’ bicycle stems from childhood joy of his first bike. The doctor gained his PhD from a family up-bringing of classic motorcycle enthusiasts/restorers.
“Motorcycles were more a way of life, rather than a hobby.”
After serving his time servicing & repairing bicycle hire fleets he took up practice at several bike shops in Cambridge where he further built his knowledge and experience. The doctors’ real passion lies in the vintage machinery we have rattling around our Cambridge streets although he’s happy to turn his hand to most bicycles, whatever their age.
“For a long period of time I worked with modern bikes or all shape and size. It’s interesting to keep up with new technology; the bike trade is very innovative."
